A trough in the west is triggering areas of patchy rain and a few storms. Ahead of the trough, winds are tending warm and northerly over western SA. A trough over QLD is bringing some rain and thunder. A high is keeping much of the southeast clear.
The southern jest is directing a pair of front towards the southwest, but dipping well south after the Bight, allowing a high to establish in the Tasman. The northern jet not having a large effect on the weather.

A trough and front will spread patchy rain over much of SA, reaching western NSW, VIC and TAS later. Warmer northerly winds will develop over the eastern inland ahead of the trough. A high will clear inland WA. Onshore winds will bring showers to the QLD coast.
